What this is.
PixHolm is an independent, browser-based toolkit for the work that sits between design and shipping: compressing and resizing image sets, converting formats, building CSS gradients, naming colours, checking contrast, generating passwords, passing large files to a client, and reviewing a diff. Every tool opens on a URL, runs without an install, and asks for an account only when a feature genuinely stores something for you.
How the tools are built.
Colour work, CSS gradient building, resizing, the diff checker and the password generator run in your browser — nothing is uploaded for those. The optimizer and converter stream image uploads through a private temporary working directory for encoding, then remove those files after the response finishes. The image downloader fetches the public page you provide. FileDrops is the deliberate exception: sharing a file means storing it until the link expires.
Who writes it.
The guides and pro tips are written and tested by the same people who build the tools. Code samples are checked against current releases, and anything that depends on a paid tier or a plugin is called out rather than glossed over. When something here is wrong, the correction goes into the article — mail corrections straight to info@pixholm.com.
The fine print
Independent, and honest about it.
PixHolm is an independent browser-based creative and developer toolkit. No tool here resells your files, and nothing is uploaded to an account you did not create.
